Saint Joseph's University Inauguration

The Saint Joseph’s University Board of Trustees elected C. Kevin Gillespie, S.J., ’72 as its 27th president in November 2011. He officially began his presidency on July 2, 2012.

Following the Board of Trustees vote on Nov. 10, Fr. Gillespie poses with Board of Trustees Chairman Robert Falese ’69, Interim President John W. Smithson ’68, (B.S.), ’82 (M.B.A.) and Board of Trustees Vice Chair and Chairman of the Search Committee Daniel Hilferty ’78.

Fr. Gillespie made a special appearance to help the Faith-Justice Institute celebrate its 35th anniversary in March 2012.

The Saint Joseph's University community formally dedicated the new John R. Post ’60 Academic Center and John and Maryanne Hennings Post Learning Commons, an addition to the Drexel library that focuses on technology and group learning, in March. Fr. Gillespie attended the dedication and extended his gratitude the Post family.
